Robbie Haben, a summa cum laude graduate of The George Washington University with both an undergraduate and a master’s degree in Accounting, is an Executive Group Associate at The Carlyle Group, an alternative asset manager with $201 billion under management. Previously, he was an investment banking analyst at Clearsight Advisors, focusing on mid-market and boutique mergers and acquisitions, and before that he was a Senior Associate at Deloitte on the Aerospace & Defense public accounting team, where he earned his CPA license. Outside of work, Robbie is on the junior board of So Others Might Eat (SOME), a community-based not-for-profit organization that exists to help the poor and homeless of our nation’s capital, where he leads the fundraising Committee, on which he raised $231,000, 60% of the total raised in 2017. Lastly, he is also on the planning committee for GWU’s Class of 2013, where he is currently planning the 5-year class reunion. Robbie was also a four-year member of the GW Men’s Varsity Baseball team.
