Christina Johnson is from Redding, Connecticut. She is studying in the School of Nursing and Health Studies at Georgetown (class of 2017), pursuing a BS in Human Science. She was introduced to The Grassroot Project by her rowing teammates, and immediately became passionate about both the messages that the programs spread and the interactive way in which the curriculum is delivered. Christina also works in a molecular biology lab at Georgetown, studying protein expression in human melanoma cells. She is interested in working in the field of public health, particularly in health policy as it relates to youth, education, and mental health.
