Aubrey Benzing-Plourde
Georgetown, Rowing

Aubrey “Auberry” Benzing-Plourde, a member of Women’s Rowing team at Georgetown University, grew up in two very distinct locations, Hillsdale, Michigan and Pomfret, Connecticut. She says she chose to study at Georgetown “because I wanted to be surrounded by a politically driven student body, engage with Washington’s thick history, and explore my own academic limits. Plus, Jack The Bulldog is pretty adorable!!” She is planning to major in government and double minor in environmental science and Spanish. Her favorite hobby is reading social science literature and her fun fact is that she gave a TedX talk at 16 about body image but the cameras died halfway through.
