TGP is extremely excited to welcome Rommel “QB” White to our team as our first ever full-time Finance Manager. Rommel, who also goes by “QB” or “RJ,” will be working to help prepare TGP for scale. He will lead day-to-day financial operations at TGP, in addition to helping us plan and budget for future growth.
Rommel joins TGP after finishing his degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Arcadia University in Pennsylvania. At Arcadia, he captained the varsity Men’s Soccer team and was involved with a number of on-campus initiatives. Rommel is excited to apply his background in finance to an organization that invests in the health of young people in Washington, DC. He is a proud graduate of the DC Public Schools.

Here at Grassroots, we address everyone by nicknames because it’s more fun for the kids, and quite frankly for us as well! What is your Grassroots nickname going to be?
My nickname is going to be “QB,” because I do all of the QuickBooks bookkeeping for TGP (among other things)!
I would give a shout-out to the entire grassroots family, for allowing me to be apart of the this wonderful organization.
