Grassroots is starting the process of our first expansion outside of DC! 
With the help of a team of students in a philanthropy class at U of Maryland, we’ve already raised $15,000 to kick off ‘Grassroot Terps’ with UMD student-athletes and PG County Schools. Now we just need to start things rolling by putting together a team of athletes at UMD.
Our plan is to schedule a small meeting of athletes sometime just before or after Thanksgiving break.

We’ll assemble a list of names and emails and then start organizing from there. Yea, we are keeping it grassroots like that. THANKS!
